We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    not everyone has fitbit or apple watch so allowing manual data input for steps would be a useful improvement

    I have created custom recipes for my clients, but when their meal plan is automatically generated by the meal planner and I try to replace the recipes, my custom recipes cannot be found in the library

    Ability to custom grams of each macronutrient rather than doing it by suggested procentage. Also it would be great to add LOW FODMAP and Halal options.

  4. Allow sharing of favorite meal and recipes

    As a coach and user of Trainerize in-app meal tracker

    I want to be able to share meals that I've marked as favorite or added as a recipe with other Trainerize users

    So that, when either myself or my clients want to share a good meal or recipe they can without the other person having to manually re-enter all the details.

    Have the ability to add custom activities that clients may participate in but aren't already included. For example some that are not included: kickboxing, MMA, jiu jitsu, rock climbing, etc

  7. Add Spanish Language

    This would be the most impactful positive change that you can implement in the app for the all spanish-users. Not the other trillion things that you guys are adding in the app. Anyways good work.

    Whoop is growing so much and it would be amazing to be able to connect it to trainerize. I'm wanting to include a whoop band with my coaching packages as a huge value add. Please update this

  9. Create an AUTOMATIC Push Notification reminding clients to preform a workout

    There should be an automatic push notification to a clients phone if a client hasn't worked out in 7 days...similar to Myfitnesspal push notifications reminding people to log their food.
    So a push notification for:
    Client NOT completing a workout in 7 days
    &
    Client not logging food in X Days

    This should all be on the clients side.

  10. Automatically add waitlisted persons to class when the spot opens

    Please automotically add the waitlisted person to class when the spot opens. I've received several notifications that spot opened up but by the time I go to enroll, the spot has already been taken. If tI was he fperirst son on the waitlist, should d get the spot - that's how waitlists are supposed to work. People shouldnhav't e to go back and sign up again. Also, please let waitlisted individuals know where they fall on the list or at least how many spots are available on the waitlist.

  11. Have Multiple meal plans on one meal plan e.g 20% deficit and maintenance and 110% TDEE

    The current meal plan doesn't allow flexibility in diets and costs coaches more time in admin hours when they could be doing marketing or getting new leads. It is also frustrating because you can't focus on specific diets like front carb loading and isocaloric e.t.c. It would make more sense to have one menu where you can add multiple meal plans that are saved and don't have to be regenerated so the client can have their deficit meal plan of 80% TDEE and maintenance for diet breaks and then 110% TDEE for building phases.   12. Incremental Habit Tracking with Target Goals.

    For habits that require multiple completions (e.g., drinking 8 cups of water or consuming 6 portions of protein), coaches could set a target number.
    Clients would then have the ability to tap a "+1" button each time they complete a unit of the habit (e.g., drink a cup of water, eat a portion of protein).
    A progress bar or visual counter would show them how close they are to their goal, keeping it engaging and easy to track throughout the day.
    This feature would work wonderfully for:

    Nutrition habits (e.g., "6 portions of protein")
    Wellness habits (e.g., "8 glasses of…

  14. Add an RPE scale to the exercises on the workout.

    I want to get cleints to work to an RPE Scale and % of max weight, instead of just reps and weight.

  15. Calendar bulk editing

    When I add recurring auto messages (or similar) and then realize I need to either edit or delete the automation, I am unable to do so for all/in bulk, I have to go into each event individually, which is a pain if something was scheduled out far in advance!

  16. A feature to track fasting (timing of eating food). Similar to the app Fastik

    A feature where you can start and stop your eating window, which measures how long the fast is and what takes place during those hours of your fasting window. Have been using the app Fastik and it would be great to either have an integration or these features within Trainerize.

  17. Put a limit on how many points clients can get from each area to prevent spamming activities

    The ability to add more guardrails or restrictions on how many points someone can get from each area either total or on a per day basis would help prevent people from gaming the system.

  19. Add auto save or button SAVE after completing a set or exercice

    I believe it’s really important to add a save button right after completing an exercise or implement an automatic data-saving system (using cookies or another method) as soon as the user enters data.

    Currently, if we accidentally go back from the "SESSION IN PROGRESS" page (where we input reps and weight during an exercise) to the previous "EXERCISE OVERVIEW" page, all the entered data is lost. This actually happened to me once, and I was really disappointed to see that my data wasn’t automatically saved. I was hoping to find it when I clicked back into the session, but everything…
