This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Reports

    Can we get the ability to run reports like a normal business owner.
    Sessions used/utlilization, revenue by custom date ranges, number of missed sessions, session expiration dates, alerts for low session usage, just to name a few.
    It’s very frustrating knowing that ABC Financial bought Trainerize and having used ABC Financial in the past, I know it’s possible to run all of these reports.

    To further support coaches and gym members, it's essential to incorporate personalized communication tools within training platforms. This could include features such as:

    Custom Messaging Templates: Allow coaches to create tailored messages for different scenarios, whether it's motivation, reminders, or feedback, enhancing the personal touch in client interactions.

    Progress Check-Ins: Implement automated check-in messages that can be customized based on the client’s goals, ensuring they feel supported and engaged throughout their fitness journey.

    Community Features: Introduce forums or group chat options where clients can interact with each other and share experiences, fostering a sense of community and accountability.

  4. Client Check-in Forms

    If you update a specific check in form, it would be great if it automatically updates in the client calendar instead of having to delete and re-add it for them. A lot of extra manual work when it could be done more seamlessly.

  5. Compare check-in form progress with graphs, multiple check-in forms, no question or character limit

    I still have to use google forms as the new form system is very limited.

    It would be great to have:

    A) a way to track progress over time with the new form system, to see how the client is tracking.

    B) Ability to show the entries and the progress as a graph (with both bars and/or line graphs)

    C) Unlimited forms, so we can send different forms to different client tags, or even one form per client if need be.

    D) No question limit (why not, it's not like they take storage space)

    E) No character limit in each…

  6. Show dates of previous adjustments

    The ability to see previous adjustments and dates. For example, If I'm getting a competitor ready for competition. I'd like to look back at previous diets that we have done in the past. Or simply for me, as the coach, to keep up with adjustments I have made with a client.

  7. filled in check-ins/forms

    the completed forms need adjustments. I am unable to visibly see all completed check-in forms that each client has filled out. With multiple clients I cannot easily scan through every single person's calendar to find completed check-in forms. So as amazing as the new FORMS feature is I cannot use it. I would love to be able to use this feature as it makes things stream-lined, but access to completed forms is really difficult. It should all be accessible in one area not clicking though each clients account individually.

  8. Merge Exercises in Exercise Library

    We have some exercises input twice and then clients may use 2 different inputs for exercises. (Ex: "ez bar overhead tricep extension" and "overhead tricep extension (EZ Bar)" ).

    This causes the clients to have 2 separate exercise/weight histories.

    Would love a feature to "merge exercises" so you can consolidate 2 different exercise histories of weights into 1 and put 1 video as the technique video.

    This would:
    - Merge histories for personal bests
    - Replace/merge both exercises in the Master Workouts and Plans to be the Merged Exercise

    This has occurred for me and my team after 7 years…

  9. Allow Account Owners to View Coach–Client Message Threads

    Hi Trainerize team,

    I’m the owner of an online coaching company with multiple coaches on my team, and this year I’ve run into a recurring issue that’s significantly affecting our client experience and quality control.

    Right now, account owners cannot see the messages exchanged between individual coaches and their clients. As our team has grown, this has created a few challenges:

    -I cannot monitor response times from my coaches
    -I cannot review the quality, tone or accuracy of the support they’re providing
    -I cannot step in proactively when a client is struggling because I have no visibility into their communication…

  12. Coaches need the ability to track their food and workouts for clients to publicly see

    If coaches would track their nutrition and workouts, for clients to see, it would be beneficial for long term success. clients look to coaches for guidance, and being able to model the person you're listening to would be very helpful. My clients consistently ask me what I eat, or how I train. It would be easier if they could see and model.

    The feature to upload our own check in form & /or the ability to include a link to our check in form in the auto messages in the calendar . currntly we can only include it in a group message or individual message but can't link the form when we schedule it in the calendar

    Hey Trainerize Team,

    I hope you’re doing great! I’ve been using Trainerize for a while now, and I had a couple of ideas that I think could really level up the platform for coaches and clients alike.

    1. AI-Powered Program Creation
      Imagine if we could integrate something like ChatGPT directly with Trainerize so that a coach could just describe the kind of program they want—like “Hey, build a four-week muscle-building plan with these exercises”—and the AI automatically populates that program inside the Trainerize app. It would save us a ton of time and make the whole process super efficient.

  19. Custom App Splash Screen

    It’s been over five years since this issue was first raised, and we’re still sitting here with no meaningful response.

    Every custom app owner has spent a considerable amount of time and effort crafting what they want on their splash screen. Yet it remains visible for barely half a second when we or our clients log in. That completely defeats the purpose. It’s a basic expectation of having a branded app that we’ve paid good money for.

    On top of that, even after naming our app, it still downloads as “Fitness App”. That’s not exactly the best way to show…

  20. ability to send library's exercise video through chat

    as a coach, you should be able to send a exercise video from the library as a message to the client. When a customer needs to be advised on a movement or if a variation needs to be suggested, this would be a good feature.

    Now the video has to be brought into the message conversation "from outside" even though everything has already been filmed and brought into the system.
