This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Progression Spreadsheet Updates on Program Calendar

    Issue: When you update a program exercise by changing it on a program that exists on a calendar, the exercise does not update on the scheduled calendar.

    Discussion: This is an issue because you can never change a exercise on an existing program without unscheduling the whole workout and redoing the progression spreadsheet.

    Recommendation: Allow changes to the workout exercises and progression spreadsheet that will also update on the program calendar.

  2. Track and report appointments and classes by coach

    It would be great from a business perspective to be able to track and report appointments and classes by coach on an interval of weeks or months (i.e Coach John serviced 50 appointments and 10 classes in the month of November)

  3. Prevent Clients from SCREEN SHOTTING workouts to save for their own

    I would like Trainerize to find a way to stop clients from screen shotting the workouts the trainers assign and create. Ive had opportunities for sales that did not go through because clients have screen shotted the workouts for themselves. If we can find a way to prevent this from happening, it'll protect alot of trainers hard work from being stolen.

    The Nutrition graphs for previous months do not reflect the Macros choices from that time frame. This is CRITICALLY important for recording data of clients. If I change a clients current Macros it changes ALL data across the board from all time frames. How can I accurately go through data with a client and understand what they did and how they did it if the data is not represented properly or reflective of the Macros they had set at a certain period of time? Legally as well, this puts the coach in a very compromised position if I needed that…

  7. Add Klarna Payment Option

    See this has been posted before... but it's still not up on Trainerize yet - stripe has a partnership with klarna affirm etc - and it'll be really helpful if you allowed the trainers to give that option simply at checkout for clients in the product - this would be huge to increase trainers revenue and also put more money through Trainerize - definitely should prioritize this

  8. AVERAGES - automatically calculate averages for all progress pages (weight, calories, steps, protein etc)

    The app collects lots of data (which is awesome) but it's no good to us without interpretation (AVERAGES).
    Averages for weight, calories, sleep, protein etc will allow us and the client to QUICKLY see how things are. Manually calculating this for every clients is unbelievably time consuming and shouldn't even be necessary

  9. more food tracking app options

    Clients should have more options of food tracking apps other than fitnesspal and the trainerize app. I really enjoy the Loseit! app for food tracking, and while i can have clients use that app to track and share it with me, its much easier to have it all in once place. More food tracking apps in general would be super helpful for options

  10. Ability to Cancel Appointment

    Ability to cancel an appointment instead of deleting it. The event should still appear on calendar with a strike through it to indicate it has been cancelled. This helps keep track of missed appointments ie. refunds, consistency etc.

  11. Exercise alternatives

    I personally feel like this is very important. Everfit currently has this feature and I believe Trainerize could benefit from it. I’ve had many clients who can’t do a specific exercise and would have to travel into the extensive library to find an alternative that is hopefully appropriate for them. If we can have a drop down and add in a regression exercise or a progression exercise for the client would make things easier for the client and the trainer.   12. Up the game on the MEAL PLANNER!

    You guys need to have more vegan dishes + fiilters and options for the planner like change the macro % split, add like unprocess/process food options, EXCLUDE foods for people allergic like for example Broccoli, or a specific food, etc. Basically upping the game.

  13. nutrition breakdown for each food

    I like that we can see the breakdown of all the calories, macros and nutrients for the entire day, however, it would be nice to see the breakdown for EACH food.
    Example: for a client who is struggling with fiber OR going way above fiber; being able to see each food's macro/nutrient breakdown. Or a minimum, seeing the calorie, protein, carb, fat, sugar and fiber breakdown for each food item.

    it would also be nice to see a vitamin & mineral daily recommendation.

  14. Auto messages in Mobile App

    I would like to be able to review outgoing or sent auto messages on the mobile app without accessing the desktop version, and without having to go through the calendar or the dash.
    It would be much more useful to see and edit what auto messages are coming for both groups and individual clients.

    Automatically calculate average proteins and calories for the week from whatever they enter in MyFitnessPal. PLEASE this would make life SO MUCH EASIER

  16. upload photos

    I get so much feedback that the app is incredible EXCEPT for the photos part. we get members to upload photos of their measurements (chest, waist, hips) and scales as proof. But theres no place to do this also they can only upload 3 photos per day as well which we ask them to space them out throughtout the week (not ideal)

  17. Weekly weight average tracker in "Biometrics" section

    I think that the weekly weight average is a very important piece of information for clients and coaches. It does not currently exist in the app and I feel it would be a huge improvement to the app.

  18. progression spreadsheet

    Is it me, when I use the progression spreadsheet and use the customize feature, it does not update on the clients in on the app or online. I can see where I made changes but it does not update at all on their end. Is there something I am doing wrong?

  19. Automatic Progression Spreadsheet Changes When Updating Client Programs

    have the capability of substituting exercises within the progression spreadsheet, but also have the capability of adding exercises week by week, and removing exercises for deload weeks for example.

    All without having to create new workouts in the training phase.

  20. Option to progress workouts via Work time and Rest time in progressions builder.

    In the progressions builder, the option to progress workouts by altering both work time and rest time would be very helpful. Altering both allow trainers to progress workouts easily while keeping workout duration consistent.
