We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. SCHEDULE ON-DEMAND WORKOUTS AND LESSONS

    SCHEDULE ON-DEMAND WORKOUTS AND LESSONS directly from the calendar tab, and without having them assigned to a phase.

    The calendar tab allows you to select multiple workouts/lessons at once and assign them in bulk

    I utilize the on-demand section for course material and additional pre-set workouts like cardio, and core and I would like the ability to schedule a lesson on their calendar from the calendar tab without having to go to each individual lesson and manually schedule each one.

    I had this ability once before and was told that this was a glitch.

    My on-demand section is also great…

  2. Allow trainers to change whether a trainerize exercise is timed, reps, etc

    Some exercises, like spiderman plank, is locked in as a timed exercise, but sometimes I would like my client to record reps instead. There are several exercises where I'd like the option of an exercise being timed or counting reps.

    Create a Personal Folder where i can upload my workout videos training in my facility so my clients can see the equipment i use in the gym

    It would be nice to be able to have a report that shows when sessions were used.

    A waiver built into the client sign up/on boarding email.
    One they can digitally sign and be kept in the app.

  6. Stop showing classes as FULL incorrectly

    My gym doesn't currently need or allow reservations to be made for the class. Reservations are N/A, you just show up. Unfortunately the app shows every single class as FULL by default, which is exactly wrong, incorrect, and probably dissuades a lot of people from coming who don't know that this is just a bug.

  7. Ability to rename WOD

    Would like to be able to rename WOD to WOW (Workout of the Week). Also, I have recipe videos that I post as WOD's (because I can't upload a video directly so I have to make the video an 'exercise' an then create a 'workout' in order to post it in the group??) But since I have to do that, I'd like to rename those Recipe of Week or something.

  8. Clients can report travel dates and add their own via a calendar feature

    Clients can submit calendar days or important events that upload to their dashboard so that coach can see important upcoming dates.

  9. Option to add Progressions without scheduling workouts

    I work with high school and collegiate athletes. With programs ranging from 1 time per week all the way up to 5 times per week. It would be nice to add progressions to workout without having to schedule the workout or copy and pasting the workout and then editing it. With some of my athletes on 1 or 3 day per week programs, they might come in Monday, Wednesday, Friday one week, and then Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday the next.

    I basically would like to add progressions that take into affect after they complete and save the previous workout.

    On the challenges, nutrition goal points should be awarded if client is in the yellow. Also, need to be able to see where each client is each client is earning points.

    The ability to have video messaging with clients that allows clips that are over a minute, and voice messages on trainerize messenger would be amazing. This could cut down on third party apps being used for communication and clients check ins.

  13. Set new program with a future start date without stopping the current program

    It would be great to be able to have a start date set for a new program while a client has a current program and have it automatically switch over to the new program on the set start date. At the moment I need to log in on a Sunday evening to switch any clients who need new programs so that they begin on Monday with their new program. If I change them to the new program in advance, it takes them off of their current program. It’s doing double work with planning and then having to remember to switch…

  14. Add a store section within the client application

    For me to sell additional services, and for clients to purchase them; currently this cannot be done within the application. Clients need to exit the Fitness app to visit trainerize.me. This is really disappointing. Please, make it so there is a store/shop section within the Fitness app.

  16. Stop the freezing up. It freezes on EVERY USE. SUCKS!

    Fix the FREEZING ISSUE. Make it a reliable app. The features are superb, just make it reliable so I'm not standing there with a client poking at the app.

  17. Change time at the same time after checking multiple exercises

    We can only adjust the time for each “rest” or exercise individually. It would be helpful if we can check all the exercises/rest time , and then change it all to eg 30s in one go instead of doing it 10 times

    In a community chat I would love to see a reply button directly under that comment rather than having to @ everyone down below. This would help keep comments and reply’s together just like how Instagram or Facebook does it.

  19. Option for "active days" and "rest days" with caloric intake adjusted accordingly.

    Rather than a fixed daily intake, it should be adjusted for active days and rest days, as there can be a massive caloric discrepancy.

    Eg: intake on a day with a 1.5 hour run would be 3000 cals, rest day cals at 2200.

    Rather than having to create a new exercise - be able to delete the video and replace with me own
