2. Improve account set up experience for clients on mobile

   When a client gets an email invitation to join the app, they are told to first set up their account, and then they can download the app. However, the set up process (website with a form you fill out) isn't responsive to work on phones. When trying to complete the account set up, clients using their phones (most of them) need to pinch and zoom and pan, while squinting their eyes to try to see. (The client I was working with today, who fortunately I was in the room with as she tried to set up her account, exclaimed "are you kidding me?!?!" when she saw it.) This is an embarrassing onboarding experience that I often need to apologize to my clients for. Please make this look and feel more professional.

   The request

   Add an endpoint that accepts a meal photo ID from the nutrition log and returns the actual image file or a retrievable URL.

   Current behavior

   When a client logs a meal and attaches a photo, the dailyNutrition/get response returns a mealPhoto object that contains only an id integer. There is currently no endpoint that accepts this ID and returns the image file or a direct URL. A /file/get or equivalent endpoint does not exist in the API reference.

   What we're trying to build

   We're building an AI-powered meal photo macro estimation workflow. Here's how the full flow works — and where it breaks:

   Client logs a meal in Trainerize, attaches a photo, and includes #Meal in the description to trigger the workflow
   Automation polls dailyNutrition/getList on a scheduled interval, filtering for entries where hasImage is true and the description contains the trigger keyword
   A follow-up call to dailyNutrition/get retrieves the full meal detail including the mealPhoto.id
   ⚠ The photo ID cannot be resolved into an actual image — this is where the workflow breaks
   The image would be passed to a vision AI model to estimate calories and macros
   The macro estimate would be written back via dailyNutrition/addCustomFood and logged to the client's nutrition diary
   A confirmation message is sent to the client via message/send
   Every step in this workflow is supported by the existing API except step 4. The photo retrieval endpoint is the single missing piece.

   Why this matters

   AI vision models are now capable enough that meal photo analysis is a genuinely useful tool for coaches and clients. Trainerize already captures and stores these photos — the infrastructure is there. Exposing those files through the API would unlock a wide range of automation and AI-powered nutrition workflows that coaches are actively trying to build. This is the missing piece.

   As of now, invoices must be tied to a product in the system. With my business, I send client invoices after sessions are completed, not every client I have is on a recurring / prepackaged plan.
   This then requires creating a new product each time or renaming an existing one (which then changes all past invoices sent). Example: If I send an invoice for a session on 4/22, on 4/26, I either need to create a new product or rename the "4/22" invoice, then resulting in the 4/22 invoice to be reflected as 4/26 in past ones sent.

    I’d love more flexibility when scheduling events. Right now, once I create an Event for a session—whether one-on-one or a group class—the time is fixed, and I can’t accommodate clients who need to start 10–15 minutes earlier or later without shortening their session or disrupting the schedule. For example, if some clients want to start at 5:45am and others at 6:00am, I can’t reflect this in the schedule. Allowing overlapping sessions while keeping each client’s full session intact would make scheduling more accurate, reduce confusion, and prevent losing clients due to timing conflicts.

    I used to use Truecoach because I enjoyed the idea of being able to make super customizable programs and be able to have clients immediately download their videos to each exercise they completed. That is one thing I would suggest. That you guys at trainerize would create a feature within the workouts that would give the client the ability to upload their exercise videos to trainerize. Perhaps it can be integrated with the new feedback feature? It would help out a ton. Thank You!

20. Easy onboarding flow

    For the online only coaches, a seamless onboarding flow would be ideal. I know you can send a welcome email when a new client is added, but I mean something better than that. The PDF resources you can attach to the email are limited and not that large of files. What would be great to have all in one platform:

    a whole seperate tab in master libraries "onboarding" where you can link PDF resources, give them their next steps and a "welcome" message, and be able to send it directly in the app to the client profile. (at no extra cost) this app is almost close to perfect, with the new check in forms being a game changer, I think one more ideal add on would be a tab for onboarding flow
