This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Add a way for us to share our personal food logs with clients, easy way for clients to see what we are eating for new ideas.

    Add a way for clients to be able to see their trainers food logs, either way for us to export them and share them or better yet would be to have them actually be able to check our food logs to see what we are eating get new ideas shows that we are living the life we’re asking them to live and kind of ability for us and motivation for them

  3. Is a stepper machine good for losing weight?

    A stepper machine, also known as a stair stepper or step machine, is a fitness equipment that simulates the motion of climbing stairs. It typically consists of two pedals or steps that move up and down in an alternating fashion, allowing the user to step onto each pedal and "climb" the imaginary stairs.

  4. updated videos

    Some of the pre made videos are not good in terms of technique, RDL's for example have the knees completely locked out in your videos and BB high pulls the hands are way too close (shoulder width) so wont transition well into a BB clean like it should to name a couple. I realize we can make our own but might be cool to have an elite level power lifter do deadlift videos and elite level olympic lift do oly vids, a pilates instructor to do a few positions etc

  6. Picture Options

    Allow coaches to select different picture options for clients. For gen pop the three front/back/side poses are fine. But for competitors we want to see poses.

    Set up packages options for default poses based on NPC/IFBB classes.

  7. A report for MISSED activities/habits etc.

    A report that is emailed at the end of each day to that lists the clients and the MISSED activities/habits etc.

    For instance:

    Bob missed: steps, calorie goal
    Jeff missed: work out and steps

    So at a glance we can see who needs to be contacted without looking into each client individually.

  8. Running monthly tally on PT sessions delivered

    We run a personal training studio. All of our trainers work on commission of sessions delivered. At present we use client sign off sheets to moniter sessions delivered. We would like to see a change so that when a client buys session credits, and uses them to book a session. There is a running total on each trainers profile to show how many sessions they have delivered. This would mean we can say goodbye to the paper client sign off sheets. It would make things completely accurate as when someone buys a block, they would be allocated credits to book…

  9. Adding up points or adding rules to a challenge in the midst of it,

    I don't know where to put this but my client said her points on a challenge weren't added up correctly- that her total points went down! Here's the message:
    Hi. My points before today were at 488. I did a workout 5 pts and one personal best 20pts. I should have 513 but it went down from 488 to 480????

  10. Multiple bank accounts for multiple sites

    We run an expanding chain of gyms that offer PT services, each gym has it's own subsidiary bank account. At present on trainerize if we use it to take payments, all funds would be paid into one account. My request would be that for each location you could add its own bank details for payments to be paid to, so that each location can better manage and control it's own finances.

  11. Video player button configuration

    Please could we move the buttons on the video recorder. When I send a video to a client the end video button, and the retake video button are in the same location. So what happens is if I attempt to stop the recording at the same time the video would time out, the end video button is replaced with the “retake video” button. Then it automatically erases the video.

    I’ve spoke with over 200 trainerize coaches (as I am in a coaching group that all used your app) it is a common problem for EVERY SINGLE PERSON.

  12. To be able to copy workouts of the day from app to master library on desktop

    When I write up a workout of the day on the app for a client I can't save the session on my desktop so I can use it again if needed

  13. I would love to see a thumbnail feature for workouts.

    This would allow us to have a custom photo for each workout instead of automatically picking the top exercise. Allowing for more distinctive separation between workouts!

  15. Ability to change the colours for calories / macros in the daily log

    Some clients find the colour red that shows the daily totals for calories and macros on the daily tracker demotivating. Can this be optional?

  16. Workout ease

    I don’t like that I can’t see the entire weekly workouts splayed out on the calendar and that it doesn’t have the flexibility to make modifications in the moment to one day or all the days. It’s rigid and doesn’t allow me to modify as my client progresses or if they need a substitutes I’d like to have the freedom to change things up easily.

  17. workout builder script

    The biggest issue I have with the progression calendar is having to go into each field and update the RPE/ RIR week by week. I would love an option to create the workout builder in excel and import them into the workout builder with the progression calendar. this can be done easily with key ID's for the workouts and column attributes to include our own notes. once completed in excel we can just import into Trainerize.
