1. API Endpoint for Posting Comments on Workouts & Nutrition Logs

   As a coach who uses the Trainerize API to automate and scale my business, the single biggest bottleneck in my workflow is the inability to post comments on client workouts and nutrition logs via the API.

   Currently, the API is great for pulling data (workouts, nutrition, etc.) and sending DMs. However, to provide the personalized feedback that clients expect directly on their calendar entries, we have to resort to manual browser automation. This doesn’t scale.

   The Problem:

   • Manually posting comments through the browser is slow and resource-intensive.
   • It prevents true automation of the client feedback loop.
   • It limits our ability to scale our coaching services to thousands of clients while maintaining a high-touch, personalized experience.
   

   The Solution:

   Please add API endpoints that allow us to post comments programmatically:

   • `POST /dailyWorkout/{id}/comment` with a `{"comment": "Great job on this!"}` body.
   • `POST /dailyNutrition/{id}/comment` with a `{"comment": "Looks good, keep it up!"}` body.
   

   Why this matters:

   This one feature would unlock massive scalability for any coach using the API. It would allow us to build fully automated check-in systems that provide data-driven, personalized feedback directly where clients see it most. This is a huge value-add for both coaches and clients.

2. Edit Timing/Text For Multiple Exercises In Workout builder

   At the moment, there isn't a total time showing when building exercise programmes, which means ytou have to keep a manual running total. Then, when you want to adjust the length set or rest time for multiple exercises you have to do each one manually. It would be a much better experience to provide the option of selecting multiple expercises (or a circuit) and to change the (for example) rest period for all of them at once.

6. Referral Challenge

   For us who have the business upgrade and can use the referral feature... it would be awesome if we could be able to specifically create a challenge for referrals, where it would not give the clients a big opportunity to show their support and potentially win something (this could be both for most referrals made OR on a tiered challenge)... but it would also be an opportunity to openly thank the people in a fun way.

7. Better way to review forms

   I love the forms-feature as it's a great way to enhance the client experience and gather important information as a coach.

   What I would love is the be able to see all forms in one place under the client... so that I as a coach can look at some of the data inputs and compare them over time.

   For example if I want to keep track of their energy levels, I would love to easily see what they have scored AND compare this with previous completion of the form - so that I can tell if they are progressing in these more subjective areas too.

   This is also a great way to highlight that not all progress will be weight loss or centimeters off the waist etc.

   I love the forms-feature as it's a great way to enhance the client experience and gather important information as a coach.

11. automatic notes of changes to program, cals, targets etc

    When you update targets such a cals or steps or other data being collected, having an automated date stamped note so you can go back and see what changes were made and when, to give a trail of data, rather than just losing it when the data is changed.

    I would like to suggest adding a voice recording feature for nutrition logging inside Trainerize.

    The idea is to allow users to simply speak their food intake, for example:
    “I ate 150 grams of rice, 80 grams of chicken, and 1 boiled egg.”

    The system can then convert this voice input into structured food log entries with estimated macros and calories.

    Why this would help:
    - Makes logging faster and more convenient
    - Improves adherence for clients who find manual logging tedious
    - Useful for clients who are busy, traveling, or not comfortable typing
    - Reduces friction in daily check-ins for coaches and clients

    Optional Enhancements:
    - Auto-detect portion units (grams, cups, pieces, etc.)
    - Suggest matching foods from database after voice input
    - Allow coach review before final logging (if needed)

    I believe this would significantly improve user experience and nutrition tracking consistency.

    Show total weekly calorie intake, daily calorie average, and daily macro average in the nutrition center. You guys had this feature already but with a recent update it was removed. This is an extremely helpful tool. Otherwise we have to add up all of the calories ourselves and find the average for each individual client when we're doing check-in's. So if we could integrate that feature back into the nutrition center that would be amazing!
