Allow select clients to access all of the smart meal planner recipes (regardless of meal plan)
Not all clients want a meal plan, but it would be great to offer the recipes in the smart meal planner in a kind of "on-demand" style program that shows up in their app or something similar.

Exercise regressions/substitutions suggestions
I would like to have a place to put exercise regressions and substitutions in with the program, without them being in the list with the workout. maybe if there were a box next to or below an exercise in the list, or a dropdown with options for regressions or substitutions for exercises that a client can't perform for whatever reason, and they would be easy for them to access.

Trainerize + Zapier + Notion
Zapier and Trainerize have had integrations for years now at this point, and the integrations with form management, payment platforms, and funnels are great-- but I really think Zapier's automation with Trainerize's client management would make a killer combo and time-saver for coaches. Rudimentary zaps exist for tagging with clients, but don't allow specification for which client or what goal specifically to choose.
As a coach who uses Notion as well, I think further or improved integrations or zap options with Zapier that allow Trainerize to flow into other apps like Notion would be life-changing.

Allow trainers to enter their own meals into the smart meal planner
Unable to roll out to mass client base until;
- Have the ability to enter own meals into the planner
- Needs to stop giving meat substitutes to meat eaters, because realistically they won't eat tofu if they don't have to.
- Would be better if it can be populated with enough meals to allow for a 7 day eating plan to be generated.
Would love to roll this feature out but won't be able to do it until have more control over the meals in the meal planner as in being able to add meals or delete meals.

Functional fitness and workouts have more flexibility
As a trainer who is very much into functional fitness and fitness racing I would love to see more flexibility with "WODS"
Myself and clients really enjoy the group function to the app and it allows me to set wods for the group. However I have to "make it work"
The design and workout creations are great for gym floor clients. But the fitness scene is evolving and I see more and more clients wanting to have a more all round fitness and taking part in events such as hyrox etc.
So being able to add workouts such as
EMOM and AMRAPS for example would really set this app from the rest of the online coaching market.True coach for example have alot more flexibility when using a "work out builder"

Add our own auto messages in settings
I would like the option to go into settings, and add/ edit an auto message to send out a reminder to all of our clients the Saturday before their first program starts. It is a pain to have to go into every programs calendar and do it, we have many different programs. So this takes up my whole day.

Enable reserved spots (and recurring reserved spots)
Most of my clients have a recurring schedule. However, their appointments cannot be put on the calendar until their subscription renews and either they or I notice and manually add them. This leaves their normally reserved times open for the taking by other clients who either don't have a recurring schedule, are new, or are looking to reschedule a normal appointment due to an exception in their schedule.
This causes issues because then I have to reach out to the client who just booked thinking the time slot was open and I have to explain that no, it's not actually open because another client normally takes it but we just hadn't gotten around to scheduling it (or in many cases, they are out of credits at the time and we are just waiting another few days for their subscription to renew).
It would be far easier on everyone involved if I could reserve times for a given client whether or not they have credits for it. And furthermore, if this reservation could be set to "indefinitely repeat". Then, every time their subscription renews, even better if Trainerize just automatically populated their reservations with actual session credits. Failure to have enough credits to fulfill a reservation within 48 hours of it coming up, should then automatically free up the time slot for anyone else to use.
I think this reservation should be considered a "soft appointment" and sync to our calendars like a real appointment, maybe with some kind of annotation indicating it's not real until an actual credit is assigned to it. But that would assist everyone in planning accordingly and realizing if they had a reservation they have to cancel.
Canceling a reserved time would prevent a credit from being assigned to it. Bonus points if canceling an existing session automatically moves the credit to the next available reservation date. Extra bonus bonus points if "rescheduling" an existing session does not do that and instead holds the session for the client to add to any free date in the calendar.

Can we log changing weight during a set?
If a client cannot complete a set with the starting weight they want to be able to log that they switched weight and the number of reps they completed.

“Hold” any further changes.
Please place a hold on any further “updates” “features” “add ons” “layouts” and leave the app for at least 6 months of any changes. Too many bugs, glitches, poor customer experiences, non practical steps and access for trainers over the past several months. We need a breather and a smooth run for both sides for a while.

Allow clients to track food by using meal plan AND myfitnesspal instead of one or the other.
Instead of having to choose one or the other, using two for when you like the meal plans but want to track your own snacks during the day in myfitnesspal and want to view everything in total in the trainerize app.

Upgrades For Plans
I have my clients on 3, 6, and 12 month plans at 1, 2 or 3 times per week. Sometimes, they decide they want to add days or increase the duration of their plan, but they don’t always want to add a whole new contract. They just want the remainder of their current agreement to be different.
For example - client has 2x/week, six month training contract with me and on month 4 decides they want to do 3x/week for the remaining two months. Instead of having to sell them a whole new product, do the math to determine how much more time their new agreement is and how many sessions that is, just let me push the ‘Upgrade" button and switch their plan for the remaining two months.
Having a way to upgrade a client’s current agreement to a new one without having to cancel a product altogether would make my client’s lives (and mine) much easier.

training load
A feature that allows you to track workload. As you are already collecting tonnage per session then you can track this over time. Even more basic than that, you are already collecting RPE and time for each session. Its taken me about 10 minutes to make a sheet in excel that automatically calculates training load, training monotony, training strain and colour codes them depending on their scores. Please can you integrate this as well as rolling acute:chronic workload?
