Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. When the program ends, the client should no longer have access to their program or workouts.

    Clients are repeating their previous programs after they end without paying. Each time, I have to reset them to basic access so they won’t be able to see the content and will ask me to renew.

  3. Allow payments in ZAR (South African rands)

    Allow payments in ZAR, would be hugely beneficial and more secure and trustworthy. There are a lot of trainers in South Africa that use this service so it would be hugely beneficial and helpful to us

  4. Have "warm ups" as a seperate workout option

    It would be awesome to fo this for two reasons.

    1) you can get a better idea of which main workouts clients have completed from the overview/ quick glance view in the client dashboard.

    2) when a client completes the 50 workout milestone, you know they're true workouts and not just 25 true workouts with 25 warm-up sessions.

  6. Meal Planning Filtering Options

    1. Exclude Specific Foods: This is crucial for clients that don’t eat chicken or tofu for example. most of the recipes have chicken in them.
    2. Tag Filtering: Implementing tags like "Simple Meals," "Quick & Easy" before generating the meal plan, would significantly save time replacing all the recipes
    3. Calorie Distribution: The ability to adjust calorie distribution across a specific meal (e.g. lunch = 700-800kcal or breakfast 400-500kcal) would be highly beneficial for clients with specific dietary needs or schedules.

  7. Enhancements to Meal Planning

    1. Meal Flexibility for 1400kcal Plan: Currently, the 1400kcal plan is limited to 3 meals. Allowing for 4 meals at this level would be ideal since most of my female clients eat around these calories and 3 meals are not enough..
    2. Nutrition Master Plans: Creating pre-set nutrition templates for common calorie targets (1400, 2000, 2500, 3000kcal) would streamline the planning process for coaches and allow for quicker client onboarding.
    3. Daily Macros/Calories Display: A real-time display of macros and calories for each day within the meal planner would provide valuable insights and allow for easier adjustments.

  8. Allow coaches to setup recurring booking credits without linked payment

    Right now, If we wanted to add recurring booking credits to a clients account, they have to be charged directly for the credits.

    This means:
    We can't give free trials with recurring credits.
    We can't allow a client to attend without paying through TZ because they may be getting free training or they are paying by other means.
    We can't edit/cancel the payment or credits without also editing or canceling the payments.

    I suggest simply removing the requirement for a recurring credit package to be paid for directly. We could still attach a payment to it if we'd like or…

  10. Ability to Meal Track in app AND MyFitnessPal (MFP)

    The meals are already premade in the app. If a client has synced MFP already, they should still be able to click "ATE TODAY" in the app and have it automatically add to their daily macros.

    So essentially they would be able to meal track on more than one app.

  11. Have a separate app for coaches on your phone

    I use the app on my phone to track my own workout so I can't reply to messages on my phone which makes it harder to reply promptly. I think having a completely separate app like Trainerize Coach or something could be greatly useful to all people like me, who, don't have their coach account connected due to wanting to use the app to track themselves...

  12. Inherit Light/Dark Mode from Account Settings on Login Screen

    Problem:
    A recent change to the login screen defaults it to dark mode, creating visibility issues for trainers using dark logos. This is particularly problematic for trainers who pay for a branded experience, as users encounter an "off-brand" experience upon logging into the portal. While the web app and mobile app adhere to the light/dark mode and logo preferences set in account settings, the login screen does not. This inconsistency undermines the seamless branding expected across the platform.

  13. Sheduling messages in bulk ahead of time on everyone calendar in bulk

    • please make messages scheduling plannable directly on the main calendar for everyone to be reached in bulk, once, rather than having to programme individual messages for each client which takes so much time.

  15. Remove ads on "Overview" Page

    When I sign in I have multiple large ads for the in-app meal tracker and an ad to invite other trainers show up that takes up most of the screen on my overview page. I can understand ads for other features being on the overview page, but they either need to be off to the side, smaller, or I should be able to close them/minimize them/whatever. Aside from the "Recent Activity" list on the right side of the page, I have to scroll down to actually start seeing my client overviews. Those things should be front and center.

  16. Track and report appointments and classes by coach

    It would be great from a business perspective to be able to track and report appointments and classes by coach on an interval of weeks or months (i.e Coach John serviced 50 appointments and 10 classes in the month of November)

  17. Prevent Clients from SCREEN SHOTTING workouts to save for their own

    I would like Trainerize to find a way to stop clients from screen shotting the workouts the trainers assign and create. Ive had opportunities for sales that did not go through because clients have screen shotted the workouts for themselves. If we can find a way to prevent this from happening, it'll protect alot of trainers hard work from being stolen.

    The Nutrition graphs for previous months do not reflect the Macros choices from that time frame. This is CRITICALLY important for recording data of clients. If I change a clients current Macros it changes ALL data across the board from all time frames. How can I accurately go through data with a client and understand what they did and how they did it if the data is not represented properly or reflective of the Macros they had set at a certain period of time? Legally as well, this puts the coach in a very compromised position if I needed that…
