Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Have a 'Resource Section' available to all clients

    Having a section to upload PDF files, longer videos, educational content etc to all clients where they can scroll through to find useful resources from the coach would be very useful.

    Providing content & education is so valuable, this would provide a personal connection to all clients they can refer to. Not all clients have social media, this would ensure they still have access to content we have created for public education/ information.

  3. I want any onboarding steps not done to be flagged on the client's profileicon

    As a trainer, I want to know if there are any existing issues with a client before any appointments via a visual flag on the client's profile icon.

    I should be aware of things such as payment issues, incomplete waivers, etc.

  4. Track total weight loss

    I can't believe as a fitness / weight loss app, that there isn't a way to easily see total pounds lost for a client and or total inches lost.

  5. Change the regular workout functionality to have auto rest timers

    The regular workout setup requires the user to start and stop the rest timer. If we can emulate the Strong app and how it allows for the user to fill in the weight and reps and then auto-populate and do an auto rest timer it would be easier to use in the app and more visually clean whereas now the rest timer is in between each set.

  7. Ability to have a client buy a product, ask a few questions and spit out meal plan

    Ability to sell a nutrition coaching product, have the client answer questions like height, sex, weight, activity level and do a first pass TDEE and generate out a meal plan.

  9. Notify client when Program Phase or workout is added

    Right now the client is only notified when a program is added. For a long-term client this is only done once. I'd like to either manually or automatically notify the client when a trainer adds a phase or workout.

    I had a client ask for a new workout while they were traveling. I added the workout and texted them, but because of travel they never got the text. So they assumed I didn't do it.

    I also have clients ask if they're going crazy or if the workouts look different because they didn't notice I made changes.

    you guys should have a To-Do list on our overview page, or a note box. where we can write down things we need to do with our training, clients, business whatever. that way its all in one place

  12. Be able to print the Progression spreadsheet

    This will allow you to track & see (all in one sheet) what your client has done in previous weeks while you are on the floor with them in their session.
    I am currently copying the tracking sheet from the previous week onto a blank tracking sheet for the current session, so I can see what they did last week.

  14. Be able to add in multiple task in the calendar view. Add in workouts + cardio + body stats at one time.

  15. Apply filters to exercise library depending on client tag

    We should apply filters by clients tags and exercises categories so that, for example, beginners won't see all the library with too difficult exercises for them or client won't see non relevant exercises like barbell exercises for yoga workouts.
    A client tag should give access to some selected exercises tags to allow them to build efficient freestyle workout depending of 'kind' of client.

  16. Substituting a workout

    I have gotten feedback from my clients stating when they substitute an exercise that week and save their workout that next week when they go into the same workout the substituted exercise wasn't saved and the original exercise was still there... I think it would be beneficial if there are substitutions made they should be saved for the following weeks moving forward so that they don't have to go in and substitute the workout every week.

  17. During workouts; adding a "comment/ note" sections after each exercise

    When my clients and myself are using Trainerize I explain it as a "digital journal". I think it would be beneficial to add a "notes" or "comments" section after each exercise. For instance if I complete a Bent Over Row and my 3rd set was too light at the bottom of that exercise I could make a note i.e "go heavier next week on 3rd set too light". It could be as easy as where it usually says "+ ADD NEW SET" there could be another option saying "+ADD COMMENT".
