Incorporate WHOOP / Athlytics style Morning Readiness & Strain / Effort
Trainerize is already connected to every metric that Apple/Garmin push to it so it would be great to incorporate;
- Morning readiness score
- Sleep quality score
- Strain/effort scoreThese can be incredibly valuable metrics for clients to monitor their effort levels each day and determine how hard to push in each session - or in fact, which session to do
From this information, the client can make the decision to;
- Increase/decrease sets
- Increase/decrease effort/intensity
- Perform a recovery sessionBased on sleep stages available on Apple Watch, Garmin, WHOOP & Oura we can make more accurate suggestions on how to improve their sleep. Currently Trainerize only lets you see the number of hours
This adds a deeper level of personailsation to the clients training experience - Well over half of our members have some kind of wearable - Apple Watch & Garmin being the most popular - we have all of the data from them and would be great to make use of it

Ability to swap out exercise for home or gym
I think we should be able to see the gym and home substitute because my gym doesn’t have all the equipment.

Habit functionality
We have our Clients use an app called HabitShare and they all prefer that to the habit function you have.
They want to be able to check off multiple habits at one time, they do not want to see the thumbs up each time, as they have 7 habits to do every day it gets to be a lot for them. They are: Sleeping, eating on plan, meditating, getting in movement, hydrating. For example, so they can do multiple of these things at once and they would like to be able to more quickly mark that on their trackers as such.Maybe even just removing the thumbs up or giving us as trainers to be able to do that would be great.

Planning meals ahead of time!
As a trainer, I should be able to enter future meal plans for my clients. As of right now, I can only put 7 days in and, if I want to create the next week ahead of time, I lose the current week. This makes it difficult for clients to go shopping for the next week.

Voice memo’s in messaging that way you can give feedback & clients can better read your tonality when coaching.
I often use trainerize + WhatsApp strictly for the voice memo features. It benefits the client to be able to ask questions on the fly. It also benefits the trainer to be able to be more time efficient with responses. Additionally, having a voice memo feature allows for there to be less confusion with tone when giving coaching cues and critiques.

workouts on calendars without a trainer
Allow businesses to share a database of workouts for basis members (one way communication) so that they don't have to be assigned a trainer in order to add a workout to their calendar. Then trainers can select workouts to add to "all members" as a permission setting. I think on the IT side it wouldn't be too hard to add this because a permission already exists in the system to allow trainers to do it. Simply add a new permission that possibly is an upgraded add-on for this feature.

Merge 2 clients meal plans together
When you have 2 clients that live together (a couple) merge their meal plans together so they can both have the same meals but they're set for their individual portion sizes/calories/macros.

Make it so that tall videos automatically open to full screen when the client presses play the first time
Right now the tall videos start playing with black bars after the client pushes play, and they have to press “full video” again to get the full screen version. There should not be two steps—it should open to full screen in the tall format automatically.

Enter total cal/macros for the day
Allow app users who track macros in other apps not attached to trainerize, to enter their total macros/calories manually at the end of the day in the total calories tab.

Have two accounts on file
I have clients I coach and I’m also a client to a trainer. It would be cool if you could switch between accounts easily like you can on Instagram or Facebook. Like I could have my trainer profile logged in and my trainee profile logged in, and just click the name by my account profile to switch between the two like on Instagram.

Allow Trainers to Book Clients in Group Hours
I have moved all my clients over to Trainerize and am trying to copy my existing schedule over. Not being able to book my own clients is adding steps to the process.
So, just being able to schedule clients in group classes as a trainer will help a lot.

Allow schedule type overrides:
I am moving my business over from wellness living. This software allows clients to book semi-private or private sessions anywhere in the schedule.
If a semi-private is booked, it will allow up to 4 people to book in that hour. If a private is booked, no one else can schedule.
For Trainerize, I'm thinking of having the ability to make your schedule all "group classes," but allow private clients to override an empty hour if that group hour doesn't have any scheduled clients.

Nutrition Compliance Score
The client is on the nutrition plan but does not log in their macros. They hit the PLUS button and log the score answering the question: How well did you follow the nutrition plan today? They would themselves mark their nutrition compliance for a day. So then based on that, the coach can see (assuming the client is honest and precise-ish in their logs) that the client is not achieving their goals because of not following the plan (so it's not that the meal plan is not working, it's the fact that a busy client is not following it well enough to see the results).

DROPSETS!!!!
We need the ability to create dropsets in a much easier fashion than current.
Secondly, being able to program using RIR, RPE or %1RM easier than just notes would be great
But DROPSETS are needed for sure
