Quit "Find a Trainer" and trainerize.me
Trainerize.me and the “Find a Trainer” feature, which creates a marketplace for trainers, makes us commodities and forces us to lower our prices to compete with everyone else.
Trainerize used to be a service for trainers, not for clients to compare trainers to many others. It was so different from anything else. It was perfect!
By offering trainerize.me / Find a Trainer, it makes Trainerize like thumbtack.com where people can just search for a trainer in their city online. Now, we can’t offer an app to our clients. We’re now “just a bunch of trainerize trainers”. What I loved about…

Better Developed Workout Library
- general search option to search for workout desired instead of looking through them all
- scrolling up/down versus sideways???
- add more filters/sorting options (add target muscle groups, more filters from tags when designing the workout e.g. back + biceps + dumbbells + vertical pull)
- more thorough, user friendly navigating

Save Client Payment Info On File
Currently TZ is unable to save clients payment info for the coach to add/edit payments or services without the client needing to put their info again.
This causes extra friction with every point of sale.
Many systems that use Stripe allow for payment info to be kept on file -- encypted so coaches can't see it -- but still able to make more charges or edit current subscriptions without any direct action from the client.
Any added friction in a sales process will always lead to lower sales.
The ability to keep payment info on file needs to be added…

Upload Pics instead of Video
I would like to upload a picture to expand the cardio section of the exercises. So I would be able to upload lots of cardio exercises like rowing with a resistance of 3, or treadmill speed of 3 inclines of 2.
Especially for the interval training workouts. I do not like the stick figure they have for the running. Customization of running to say treadmill speed 1 incline 3 would be a more informative and better use of the space than an ill-defined image.

Ability for clients to upload a video in a workout
I do 6 week assessments, and with my guided clients, they send me videos of them doing the moves through the messenger. What I would love, is it there was a prompt you could add in workouts that said "add video here" and allowed the client to film the move and upload it directly inside the assessment. This could also be applicable if a client wanted to check form, so perhaps a self-insert option would be helpful as well. This would streamline the process, and keep everything in one place, so it would be easy to access the videos in…

Improved Web Client View (Match App Functionality)
Please expand the web version for clients to match the app view. Right now, clients can’t see their previous weights, reps, or notes when completing workouts on the web.
Many older clients prefer laptops because the mobile app is too small and busy. A full web view — showing past performance and allowing easier data entry — would make training much more accessible.
This would also help coaches working with clients in person, since entering data on a laptop is much easier than on a phone while monitoring form.

Multiple bank accounts for multiple sites
We run an expanding chain of gyms that offer PT services, each gym has it's own subsidiary bank account. At present on trainerize if we use it to take payments, all funds would be paid into one account. My request would be that for each location you could add its own bank details for payments to be paid to, so that each location can better manage and control it's own finances.

Archive Group Chats
It would be nice to not have to delete a chat in order to get it off the screen. I have group chats that are not currently active that I would like to archive, but still have access to them, just NOT on the main screen so I have a million groups to scroll through.

A resource vault where we can upload all of our PDF's and educational videos without having to send it to clients every single time
Cuts down onboarding time & they won't have to access their resources outside the app either! This where I think we are lacking as a service

Please allow us to count CLIENT SCHEDULED WORKOUTS towards Compliance percentage
I LOVE the new compliance feature. BUT, we really need the option of it including client scheduled workouts and if they complete them or not. I let my clients schedule their own workouts from my workout library on Sunday of each month. Id LOVE to get the compliance report on whether they actually followed through and actually did them .
2 votesHi everyone,
Thanks for coming to the idea forum and adding your vote to this idea.
We're keeping this set to 'Not Right Now', as compliance number will always be what percentage of trainer assigned things (habits/workout/meals) the client completed.
If we do have any new information to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status. We’re returning your vote to you so please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.

Previous Week performance RE-CAP.
It would be great to have one screen that would show:
-Nutrition snapshot(average daily/weekly cals)
-How many workouts were completed and any personal records that were hit
-Average steps per weekThis way when checking in on Mondays.. trainers/coaches do not have to click through multiple profiles/tabs/loading screens for every single client to find this information.

Take cash and card payments via Zettle integration
Not all clients like to pay through Trainerize pay, but are happy to pay via cash and card reader payments instead.
Zettle offers these options, but must track product sales separately. It would be great to have the option to sell products listed on Trainerize pay (e.g. 2 per week 1-2-1) via both the current Trainerize Pay system and Zettle integration in order to track sales more easily and consistently.
I would suggest this is done via mobile for simplicity of inter-app communication. This could either be a separate Trainerize Pay App which either integrates Zettle into the Trainerize Pay…

Ability for clients to e-sign legal docs in-app, and require this process when a legal doc is updated.
Ability for clients to e-sign legal docs in-app, and require this process when a legal doc is updated.
As a business grows, its offerings may change, and it’s important to get current clients to agree to any changes if they continue to use our services. As of now, we need to use a separate service to email our current clients and inform them that a change is coming by a certain date and they need to click a link in the email by a certain date to continue being a member or they will be locked out of access…

Make it possible to pick a certain time inside the video
Right now while watching the client's video it is impossible to pick a certain time frame
For example if I see something at 45s in to the video and want to look at that REP again specifically, then I got to exit the video and watch the first 44s of it again to be able to look at it for the second timeThis REALLY ups the time trainers need to spend on watching videos. Please make it so that we can pick different times through out the video.

Summary email links to connect you to a filtered dashboard
When you click on a link in the weekly summary email you should be taken through to the dashboard showing only the clients who are filtered according to the link you've clicked on e.g. 'Clients that require immediate attention'.
Currently you click on the link in the summary email and are taken through to your dashboard showing all clients (unfiltered) as usual.

Pages layout for workouts.
It would be great if when doing a workout, instead of a single page the athlete has to scroll through, each exercise/group of activities were on their own pages. I find it tedious and easy to get lost with a one-page scroll layout. For example, exercise 1 is shown. Enter reps/weight/etc., once complete, page moves on to exercise 2, and so on.
