2. Allow calanders to be synced to Outlook / Office 365

   Its really awesome you can sync your calander with iSO and Google Calander, but it would be great if you could also sync it to your outlook calander.

4. Add PDFs/custom links in the more section for clients

   Ability to add links to link out to pages to buy supplements, equipment, clothing etc.
   Have a space to upload recipe guides, starting guides etc.

6. Lifetime points for rewards or levels system to redeem for swag etc

   An automatic system that rewards milestones and achievements in Trainerize with badges or points, to keep clients motivated in their training. For example, no workouts missed in February might earn a consistency badge or a certain number of points.

7. Add the ability to sync with the Whoop tracker strap

   IMO whoop.com is quickly becoming the go-to tracker for serious athletes (used by the NBA, MLB and NFL in addition to many olympians). A large part of its appeal is it the first tracker than calculates recovery and helps an athlete optimize when they're to train hard and back off all of which helps to limit injury. I'd love to see you add the ability to sync your app with Whoop as I think it would strengthen the trainer/client relationship in cases where the client uses the Whoop strap. Thank you.

8. Basic class booking abilities for clients to self-book into classes with timeslots for classes or group training within Trainerize

   I need basic class booking where clients can browse class time table for the business and grab a spot directly in Trainerize without needing another gym management app.

   I have one membership type that allows access to all class or small group training spots. I also do not need trainer commission payout calculations or salary calculations.

9. Add the ability for clients or trainers to upload device data

   I used workoutlog.com as a "client" for a certification I was doing with another trainer. I was able to upload my polar heart rate monitor data (*.hrm file) and it automatically had my heart rate data. I saw it was also available for Garmin, Timex, PowerTap, SRM, and CompuTrainer. Is this something that can be integrated into trainerize?

10. Client Based Help Area for Trainerize

    Your current help.trainerize.com (which is where clients are directed by Help') at the bottom of the Web Dashboard is COMPLETELY focused towards Trainer help using the platform and is not helpful to our End Clients at all.

    I understand we can create our own help sections on our websites, but we either need to be able to redirect Client Help to our section of the website or a Generic Client Help section needs to be added to the help.trainerize.com to handle general questions our clients will have in using the Phone or Web Apps. (In ZenDesk which you're using to drive your help knowledgebase, you could set this up easily).

    In addition, since you're tracking clients vs. trainers in Trainerize, you could also direct any help desk tickets they open to US as opposed to your Help System.

    Your current help.trainerize.com (which is where clients are directed by Help') at the bottom of the Web Dashboard is COMPLETELY focused towards Trainer help using the platform and is not helpful to our End Clients at all.

Can you please let us know if there is a plan to be able to integrate VIMEO (they have digital rights type of protection under their hosting plan, which I believe that we can then manage/control access to paid students).

13. Built in bodyfat calculator from circumference measurments

    Most clients do not have access/ability to measure bf. Electrical impedence devices are questionable and vary greatly based on many factors. Please allow the system to generate bodyfat based on entered circumference measurements. There are many formulas available. I have inserted the US Military and the even newer Ace (American Council on Exercise) formula below:
    Military:
    For men, use the following formula: % body fat = 86.010 x log10(abdomen - neck) - 70.041 x log10(height) + 36.76 [8]
    For women, use the following formula: % body fat = 163.205 x log10(waist + hip - neck) - 97.684 x log10(height) - 78.387

    ACE:
    For Men:
    Before you use the formulas, there are two measurements that are required:

    Measurement 1: Bodyweight

    Measurement 2: Waist Girth (measured at the umbilicus)

    Procedure:
    1) Multiply your bodyweight by 1.082. Add the result to 94.42. Once your calculation is complete, save the number. à (Bodyweight x 1.082) + 94.42=Result 1

    2) Multiply your waist girth by 4.15. Once you get this result, subtract it from the number obtained in step 1 (ie: Step 1 result-Step 2 result). The result obtained after the subtraction is done is your lean bodyweight (your weight if you had no fat in your body at all). à Result 1 - (Waist Girth x 4.15)= Lean Body Weight

    3) Finally, subtract your lean bodyweight from your total bodyweight (Total weight-Lean Bodyweight). Once you get the result, multiply that number by 100. Once you get the result divide it by your total bodyweight. This final result is your percentage of body fat. à ((Total Bodyweight - Lean Bodyweight) x 100) divided by (Your Body Weight) = Your Percentage of Body Fat.

    Example:
    I weigh 190 and I have a 30.5inch waist. Therefore, step 1 is (190 x 1.082) + 94.42 = 300. Step 2 says that my lean body weight equals 300-(30.5 x 4.15)=173.425. Finally, Step 3 says that my body fat percentage is ((190-173.425) x 100) divided by 190= 8.72%.

    For Women:
    Before you use the formulas, there are five measurements that are required (not fair, I know):

    Measurement 1: Bodyweight.

    Measurement 2: Wrist Circumference (measured at the widest point).

    Measurement 3: Waist Circumference (measured at your umbilicus).

    Measurement 4: Hip Circumference (measured at the widest point).

    5) Multiply your hip measurement by 0.249. à Hip x 0.249 = Result 5.

    6) Multiply your forearm measurement by 0.434. à Forearm x 0.434 = Result 6.

    7) Add results 2 & 3. à Result 2 + Result 3 = Result 7.

    8) Subtract Result 4 from Result 7. à Result 7 - Result 4 = Result 8.

    9) Subtract Result 5 from Result 8. à Result 8 - Result 5 = Result 9.

    10) Add Result 6 and Result 9. The result is your lean body mass (your fat free weight) à Result 6 + Result 9 = Lean Body Mass.

    11) Subtract your lean body mass from your bodyweight. Once you get the result, multiply that number by 100. Once you get this result, divide it by your bodyweight. à ((Bodyweight-Lean Body Mass) x 100) divided by your bodyweight.

    Example:
    A woman that weighs 125, and has a wrist measurement of 6.0, a waist measurement of 24, a hip measurement of 38, and a forearm measurement of 9.5 would calculate her body fat percentage in the following manner. Step 1: 125 x 0.732=91.5. Step 2: 91.5 + 8.987=100.487. Step 3: 6 divided by 3.14=1.91. Step 4: 24 x 0.157=3.768. Step 5: 38 x 0.249=9.462. Step 6: 9.5 x 0.434=4.123. Step 7: 100.487+1.91=102.397. Step 8: 102.397-3.768=98.629. Step 9: 98.629-9.462=89.167. Step 10: 4.123+89.167=93.29 (Lean Body Weight: Fat Free Weight). Step 11: ((125-93.29) x 100) divided by 125 = (31.37 x 100) divided by 125 = 3171 divided by 125= 25.368 (Body Fat Percentage).

    we need to be able to see previous Macro goals on previous months graphs. If you change a clients current macros it sets ALL previous data with previous marco's to the new numbers!!! This is hugely problematic and decreases due diligence on the coaching side of things.

17. Allow clients to update payment info/cancel WITHIN the mobile app

    Even though they can cancel/update payment info through the website version of the app, no one understands this and it is confusing. Especially for custom branded apps.

    I currently have to either step them through the process of logging into the web version and finding where to cancel or update info, or (most often) just do it myself.

    There is also no direct link to the web version when they click on the "Payment Information" and "My Purchases" under the MORE screen. It simply says "Please sign in through the web app to manage your payment information".

    Even if canceling directly in-app isn't a possibility, including a direct link to the individual web app (i.e. "Please sign in here: www.appname.trainerize.com to manage your payment information") would be so helpful.

18. Update to "Groups" Messaging Software

    So, after using Trainerize for a little bit here I wanted to throw my idea into the wind for some changes to the messaging software in the "groups" tab.

    This will be a little long, so please bare with me.

    1️⃣ FIRST - Summary Tab
    ▪️ It would be great if we could add in a little description that can communicate whatever we need to our group of people (as seen in the photo link).
    ▪️ The "Time Line" Tab should really just be consolidated underneath and taken off the general chat feed to clean things up. People can interact with the feed using emotes if they so choose.

    ▪️ It would be nice if we could pin specific file types to the top that could be relevant to the group (as seen in image).

    Trainerize.me and the “Find a Trainer” feature, which creates a marketplace for trainers, makes us commodities and forces us to lower our prices to compete with everyone else.

    Trainerize used to be a service for trainers, not for clients to compare trainers to many others. It was so different from anything else. It was perfect!
    By offering trainerize.me / Find a Trainer, it makes Trainerize like thumbtack.com where people can just search for a trainer in their city online.

    Now, we can’t offer an app to our clients. We’re now “just a bunch of trainerize trainers”. What I loved about Trainerize is that it still let our business be independent, unlike someone who is, say, a Beachbody Trainer who works for…BeachBody, not themselves. This makes us uber drivers for training.

    It marginalizes what we do and how we can market ourselves. Before this marketplace (trainerize.me / Find a Trainer,), we could advertise our own businesses as being something special and different, a business with online training offered on our websites and the Trainerize app…but this takes the exclusivity and uniqueness of what we had and makes it worth nothing.

    This is a radically disappointing change that is going to have catastrophic results to most of your best clients.

    Why would anyone get a great trainer when they could get a cheap one?

    I would much rather you have invested in more exercise demonstration videos and additional app features than something this.

    Trainerize.me and the “Find a Trainer” feature, which creates a marketplace for trainers, makes us commodities and forces us to lower our prices to compete with everyone else.

    Trainerize used to be a service for trainers, not for clients to compare trainers to many others. It was so different from anything else. It was perfect!
    By offering trainerize.me / Find a Trainer, it makes Trainerize like thumbtack.com where people can just search for a trainer in their city online.
