This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Exercise alternatives

    I personally feel like this is very important. Everfit currently has this feature and I believe Trainerize could benefit from it. I’ve had many clients who can’t do a specific exercise and would have to travel into the extensive library to find an alternative that is hopefully appropriate for them. If we can have a drop down and add in a regression exercise or a progression exercise for the client would make things easier for the client and the trainer.   2. Strength Training Programming

    Can there be an option where the client does not have to input the weight they used for strength training. It makes it super time consuming for them and they become inpatient with it. Most of the time I give them the weights they are to use unless otherwise specified.

  3. Dark Mode

    Hi. I currently have a client that is on the fence using this app because he can't see this app well due to his eyesight. The white background makes it difficult to read. It would be nice to have an option for dark mode. It would also be nice to have an option to make the font larger and bolder on the user side.

  4. Meal Planner Suggestion

    Hi, I have some ideas or suggestions for the meal planner from a coach’s perspective. The macro percentages could have more options, or the option to switch to grams. Clients trying to build muscle often have eccessively high protein intakes when taking up their calories, as the protein is always 30 %. Similarly, when going lower in calories, I think the protein amount should stay the same, by having the ability to adjust grams, not percentages.

    I also think for outside the USA coaches and clients, some more simple recipes could be added, that don’t include hard to find ingredients…

  5. We should be able to copy a meal to the same day. Right now it is buggy.

    Need to check the copying of a meal to the same day. Copying to another day happens smoothly but copying to the same day keeps showing the same message that the meal is already logged; do you want to replace or create a new one. Asking it to create a new one does not do the job and it just keeps showing the same pop up message. Software needs to be fixed.

  6. Master Library Meal Plans, Smart Meal Generator for custom recipes/meals

    As coach I want to be able to make Master Library Meal Plans and auto calculate portion sizes based on my own/custom recipes.

    Smart Meal Generator for custom meals too, to individualize the plans for my clients for their individual calorie/macro goal. But everything based on the recipes I recommend.

  7. Custom Recipe Library

    Please give clients the option to view the entire library of custom recipes/meals. All recipes I recommend our clients shown in a overview.

    I want them to be able to track with MyFitnessPal AND see all our recipes within a Overview. A online Recipe INSPO Page for their own tracking.

  8. you should be able to rename and reorder the meals on the smart planner. for example "pre-workout meal" and "post-workout meal"

    for a high calorie smart meal meal plan, it currently has 3 meals and 3 snacks in-between. You should be able to reorder those so depending on how a clients day looks and when they will be training and when they will be able to fit their bigger meals in

  9. Be able to see and enter stats for multiple client workouts at once!

    Be able to see 2 client workout stats at once! Sometime I have duo session that perform the same workout; I'd like to be able to look at and update stats for both at once.

  15. Ability to set custom macros

    I find that usually protein intake is way to high for clients on maintenance/build since the lowest split is 30% of total calories.

    It would be great if we as trainers could modify at least that protein field and set custom goal.

  16. AUTOMATIC RESPONSES DURING OFF HOURS

    During hours when we are not working we a “quiet mode” akin what Instagram currently has but they also get an automated response saying “Coach John Doe isn’t available as he is off-duty between the hours of 6pm” It would help our clients know that we’re not leaving them hanging. As long as this doesn’t cause any further complications within the system I think this is an absolute MUST/necessity.

  17. Add a Prompt, "Are you sure you want to delete this exercise? It is currently being used in an exercise plan"

    I updated and removed custom exercises in the library. I did not realize it would also remove it from an existing master exercise plan. A prompt that says, "Are you sure you want to delete this exercise? It is currently being used in a master exercise plan" would have been helpful to avoid this oversight.

  19. Find a meal through the search function

    It would be great to be able to find the meals through the search function when logging your food. Right now the only way to add a meal that I created is to go to the discover button and add it. It's not very intuitive.

    Also, you can only add 1 meal from there. If I have 1 item as an entrée and another as a side, you can't add both to 1 meal. It doesn't make sense.

  20. Up the game on the MEAL PLANNER!

    You guys need to have more vegan dishes + fiilters and options for the planner like change the macro % split, add like unprocess/process food options, EXCLUDE foods for people allergic like for example Broccoli, or a specific food, etc. Basically upping the game.
