We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Check In Suggestion and Sync workouts in the master calendar to subscribers booked classes

    My client received a "Low Workout Compliance" despite attending his 4 sessions last week because I have all my classes scheduled on the calendar and he was only booked for 4 classes as per his membership contract. I suggest being able to check clients into a class they attended and also have only the classes they have booked pop up on their calendar.

  3. Let me create 5 meals for clients eating less than 1800 calories

    I have all my clients eat 5 times a day no matter what to speed up their metabolism, especially my clients that I have on a reverse diet.

  4. smart planner as a guide not a goal

    Allow the smart planner to be a guide not a goal. My clients like the planner but the calories are only set to the 100's.

    The smart meal planner should be available as a guide not a calorie set goal specifically.

  5. Pages layout for workouts.

    It would be great if when doing a workout, instead of a single page the athlete has to scroll through, each exercise/group of activities were on their own pages. I find it tedious and easy to get lost with a one-page scroll layout. For example, exercise 1 is shown. Enter reps/weight/etc., once complete, page moves on to exercise 2, and so on.

  6. invoicing clients

    I would like to be able to invoice clients even if they are not using the online payment method. I am currently creating invoices monthly for clients and attaching them inside of trainerize. it is very time consuming

  8. Ability to add nutrition advice notes somehere

    It would be helpful to add nutrition note for ingredients swaps knowing what your clients like or should avoid.
    I dont recommend sweetners but choose more natural choices and would like to give my clients that advice as a note to the recipe.

  9. AI generated posts sending inappropriate messages

    Some of the automatic posts are inappropriate and not listed as a feature I can turn off. For example an AI generated post sent messages to my patients saying since you didn't respond, I guess we aren't a good fit! As if I am firing my patient! This needs to be fixed immediately. There is no way to turn off this feature under events. IT has already checked into it.

  10. Add ability to prescribe Pre workout meal / post workout meal

    Add options for Pre workout meal / post workout meal and more snacks. Some clients need to eat more than 4 times a day and they should be able to track more than just 4 categories so we as coaches can look at nutrient timing.

    On the dashboard, when a client starts a workout there is a start workout button and it is a continuous flow of the workout. So it simultaneously goes from one exercise to the next including rest periods and videos and the client can pause the workout during.

  12. add in a tempo section and make the “sets/reps” notes more clear

    Make the layout of the workout so that the sets and reps note from the trainer is more obvious. Also add in a separate tempo section.

    Ability to search for meals in the discover tab. So clients can find their favourite recipes faster.

  14. More snack ideas on balanced macro split

    I only ever see the same snack options to pick when having “balanced” macros which most my clients have yet there are soooo many options in discover or popcorn / fruit and whipped cream can’t be given on “balanced” macros? The other macro spilts are too high protein so I mainly use balanced - but lack of snacks.

  15. App for self-managed users

    I was introduced to this app last year through my wellness coach. She set me up with an account and plan and I loved the ease of use of the app. Some things I found really helped me to push myself was the daily goal checklist, the workout videos and library to swap out exercises, the visibility of tracking, and the integration with other health apps (apple health, watch, and myfitness pal). I finished my 6month program and felt confident and more knowledgable to continue on my wellness journey alone (which is really the goal of the program). Since November…

  18. Allow coaches to see/edit full workouts on the calendar screen

    When programming for a client seeing the "bigger picture" is very helpful. It can be extremely tedious going back to the programs tab and editing each workout or having to check back with other workouts to ensure there isn't any unnecessary exercise overlap between training sessions. Allowing coaches to program on the calendar screen would be a huge boost to productivity.

    Be able to easily see what days and times the client is coming in for there group class.

  20. Add a webhook for when a user logs into the app

    For example, to track which days clients log in to help flag for clients who are at risk of not continuing.
