Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Larger Instruction Area in Workout Builder

    The new workout builder only provides three lines of text which makes it a pain to edit. The ability to resize this area or just have it larger would be great!

  2. heart rate calculation using Karvonen formula

    I noticed in the recent update that heart rates within the different zones is now automatically calculated utilizing the age of the client. I love this, however, it would be nice if we had the options of either choosing between calculating the zones automatically with the age formula or the Karvonen formula which utilizes the client's resting heart rate as well. Or at least entering the zones manually under the "measurements" tool so it overrides the age-predicted heart rates automatically.

  3. Start Client mid Program

    When creating Training Programs with multiple plans/microcycles that are progressive/periodized in nature, it would be nice to be able to start clients on certain plans. For example, having a bodybuilding Program, but beginner starts at the very beginning while someone who is a little more advanced starts on the 2nd or 3rd mesocycle

  5. Copy workouts to all clients in one click..

    Be able to copy a workout to ALL clients instead of having to enter individual names...this would be a huge value to add "workout of the day" to all clients and members....

  6. Have one space where we can see all the notes a client has input.

    I can only see a note from a client in the daily email or if I click on that specific workout they checked in for/tracked. Many of my clients leave me detailed notes after each workout and it would be helpful to see them all in one space for each client so that I can review them all at once before writing their next program.

  7. Fit Bit Exercise Result Tracking To Track Calories Burned In Sessions & Heart Rate Fluctuations Within Session

    Can we incorporate Fit Bit's Exercise Result Tracking into the Trainerize system for our clients so they can see how many calories burned in each session and their heart rate fluctuations throughout each session also just like fit bit has done on their mobile app?

  8. Introduce SMS reminders

    Instead of just an email having the ability to have an SMS sent to your client to remind them of having to complete their workout today, weigh in, measurements, before after would be SUPER!!!! (Also allowing us to switch of email if sms notifications are selected would be great)

  9. Zapier action to extend a training plan

    Would be cool to be able to extend a training plan with a Zap.

    Example:
    Using a subscription payment solution that can send info if next month is paid, cancelled, etc.

    If paid: extend training plan by X weeks.
    If cancelled/no payment: deactivate client

    This is obviously for already set up clients that already have an active training plan in place.

  10. Add more measurements for female clients such as midway, bust, etc.

    Add more women friendly measurement options. I train a lot of females and we take measurements at not only true waist but also midway. And also we measure bust and chest.

  11. Allow for video introduction to be put on website landing page

    Instead of just pictures on the landing page there should be the ability to add a quick 30 second intro video. Videos have proven to convert more views into sales

  13. allow for reporting of results to send to client

    I would like to have the ability to send my clients a report on their progress, that shows more than just one metric @ a time. It would be cool to show them a report with up to 3 or 4 metrics (EXAMPLE: waist, hip, LBM,FM & Weight ) with the dates of measurements as well. Right now they can only go online and view each individually on a graph. It would be cool to be able to print this out and give them to put on their fridge for motivation.   16. Set hand portions targets (Like Precision Nutrition)

    Ability to set hand portion targets just like macros, and have clients be able to take pictures of meals (as usual) but instead of having the food search bar pop up, just give them the option to add "Protein" "Carbs" "Fats" or "Veggies", with 0.5 increments for half portions

    So for example, I could set 5 palms of protein, 6 carbs, 5 fats, and 5 veggies to a client.

    Then, when they add meals, the targets add up, just like the macro tracker :)

  17. Add More Simple, Batch-Cook, Bodybuilder-Style Meals

    Many of my clients prefer — and see the best results from — straightforward, batch-friendly meals without extra sauces, toppings, or complicated ingredients.

    I’d love to see the Smart Meal Plan Master Library include more classic bodybuilding staples like:

    Proats: oatmeal, whey isolate protein powder, berries

    Chicken & Rice: grilled chicken ******, rice, steamed veggies

    Ground Turkey & Sweet Potato: with green beans or broccoli

    Egg Whites & Ezekiel Toast: with avocado or spinach

    Salmon & Quinoa: with asparagus or zucchini

    Writing running or cardio workouts for clients with notes and key points, similar to the option available for strength or mobility workouts.   19. Get notified when a client completes a check in & view previous check ins

    Trainerize has a beta client check in and I am using that. But it would be nice to be notified when a client completes their check in instead of having to go through each client individually. Also being able to view past check ins from week to week.
