This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Disable client's ability to see the Trainerize Master Library of exercises through substitutions or additions

    Because the clients can see the master library through substitutions or additions, it puts the coaches and clients at risk. Not only can the clients try workouts that the coach did not assign to them and potentially injure themselves, the clients can also create their own workouts and potentially be able to go at it on their own, which defeats the whole purpose of using the app.

  2. Expand on post workout rating and calculate average rating for each workout

    It'd be great to rate the workouts by more than just intensity and to calculate the average rating for each workout.

  4. Add an automated avatar that performs exercises through reps or timer

    It would be great for the client to watch the avatar or person performing the exercise while they are performing the reps for count of reps or time duration. The avatar moves throughout the set

    Hello,
    We are starting to post video content for Students. However, links to youtube display. Can you please let us know if there is a plan to be able to integrate VIMEO (they have digital rights type of protection under their hosting plan, which I believe that we can then manage/control access to paid students).

    Thanks for coming to the idea forum and adding your vote to this idea.
     
    We’re keeping this set to ‘Not Right Now’, as this isn’t something we have any immediate plans to implement. We want to help trainers reduce the number of apps they’re using so we’re focusing on direct uploads into Trainerize. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
     
    If there’s any reasons why you find uploading videos into Trainerize not as effective or efficient, please let us know.

  8. Customize TEMPO, REST, and EXERCISE in Progression Spreadsheet

    Being able to change tempo, rest time, and exercises themselves through the Progression Spreadsheet. It would be more efficient to progress through one workout rather than creating another similar workout in the Training Plan.

    ex:
    Wk1 - Goblet Squats - 3 sets, 10 reps - 60s rest - 4020 tempo
    Wk5 - BB Front Squats - 5 sets, 5 reps - 120s rest - 2020 tempo

  9. Enable syncing of body weight or body fat percentage from Apple Health to Trainerize

    Given that there's people out there that have digital scales other than Withings that automatically send their weight to an app that either syncs with Apple Health or Apple Health directly, and the fact that most other things can be synced from Apple Health to Trainerize already - even unnecessary things like blood pressure and cycling distance, it shouldn't be so hard to allow syncing of body weight as well. Especially since body weight is likely one of the most important markers for most clients & coaches.

  10. Sending mass messages to client's phones via text as well as through the app

    I would like to send mass text messages to clients who are not engaging in their program. People who are not engaging in the program are obviously not on the app. i need to be able to send them a text message, encouraging them to re-engage. Otherwise I will never reach them. It is inevitable that 100% of people will fall along the way. Whey they are in a bad place, they are not using their app - but you can reach them immediately and anywhere with a text. Give it some consideration.

  11. Integrate Trainerize Pay with PayPal Payflow Pro or PayPal Business as the Payment Gateway

    At the moment you can only use Stripe as your payment gateway, but since Stripe does not offer true merchant account services, international payments very often fail.

    To solve this problem, trainers should be able to integrate their PayPal Business account (or PayPal Payflow Pro account) to Trainerize Pay as their default payment gateway.

    PayPal Business and PayPal Payflow Pro offer true, verified merchant account services and therefore would reduce considerably the amount of failed payments business owners face right now.

    Also, clients could use PayPal Express checkout or maybe even PayPal Credit to pay.

    We’re keeping this set to ‘Not Right Now’ as bringing on a new payment gateway is a significant undertaking, and it’s not something we’re looking to do at the moment.

    There Is nothing more annoying than losing a workout after half way through building it due to connection trouble or computer freezing And auto save feature would be a great addition

  15. Form on trainerize.me page

    When a potential new client goes to your trainerize.me page, the only options are to purchase a program.

    Having a form that the individual could fill out like a very basic consultation form will allow you to get in touch with the individual when they are considering your services.

    As a potential client, only having the option of making a purchase without submiting a form to get to know the trainer would turn me away.

    The only other way to do this would be through your own personal website.

  16. Trainers to be able to edit/add nutrition goal through the app

    The ability for trainers to add/edit nutrition goals through the APP and not just the webpage. The app is so convenient but it doesn’t have all the features that the webpage does. This would be very convenient as a trainer who edits their clients nutrition multiple times.

  17. MindBodyOnline or Paypal Payment. Allow seamless payment and new account creation on a purchase of my online workout program

    Allow some form of integration or process to take a payment through MindBodyOnline or Paypal.

    Once done, seamless up the account and copy a template client into the account to get it all set up.
